Black Chime Mantel & Tabletop Clocks

Steampunk design is defined as the combination of machinery and elegance, form and function. The Alcester pendulum table clock is a piece of art, both physically and mechanically. The skeleton workings display the glorious intricacies of this mechanical regulator clock with 8 day key-wound movement. The bell strikes on the hour, almost demanding it be looked at and admired.

Finished in worn black with red and brown undertones on select hardwoods and veneers, this handsome clock features fluted columns with raised bevelled column caps, flat glass that encases the dial and a brushed antique brass-finished pendulum bob with a brass-finished stick. It has an aged dial with aged black Roman numerals, black serpentine hands, and a brushed antique-brass finished bezel. The quartz, battery-operated, single-chime movement plays Westminster chime on the hour and counts the hour.

This clock is beautiful. Although lightweight altogether, the face looks very aged and the chimes sound EXACTLY like a large Grandfather clock. Many of the other similar clocks I looked at had chimes that sounded mechanical and fake...not this one. Very pleased with the purchase.. Carolyn. Moline, IL. Sun Dec 26 2021
