A fabulous picture that hangs in my conservatory … I prefer to call it The Lady of Onion … but that’s just me. The only downside for me is that I wish it had that sort of weird glass that doesn’t reflect light … it’s probably got a special name, but I prefer to call it ‘that weird glass that doesn’t reflect light’. Love this classic depiction of a mermaid sitting out of the water. Forget Disney though as the colour tones are quite dark and this gives the picture a bit of edge. I actually feel sorry for the mermaid as she seems quite sad but I suppose being half fish will get you down after a bit.
