I’d been looking for something like this for a while, the reviews on other sites for similar clocks weren’t great, I wanted the feel in weight as well as the movement with the cogs whilst on display and this purchase was just that The clogs are so relaxing to watch everyone that visits complements it. Only down side is the fingers and the backdrop of the clock are very similar in colour which makes it quite tricky to read the time so I’d recommend hanging in a well lit corner of the room or buy it a wall light to hover above it.. This large, contemporary clock featuring moving gears on display. Made of metal it is a solid, well-made clock and would add style to any room of the house. The clock is made of iron, MDF and plastic and requires 3 x AA batteries (not included).

It looks nice and the (separately-powered) cog mechanism is fun, but the black hands make it hard to tell the time except in a well-lit room and/or from straight on. Looking up at the clock from an angle, it's impossible to tell where the hands are. Perhaps if they'd been painted white instead of black, they'd be more visible.. Geoff. Basingstoke, GB.
