Our Faux Wood Venetian blinds are made of durable, strong plastic slats. These blinds are suspended by strips of fabric tape. The corded mechanism used in these blinds is to tilt the slats instead of a tilt wand mechanism. Its child-safe feature is user-friendly and provides peace of mind for all. For a recess fitting, the valance is made to the width ordered so it sits inside the recess. Inside mount refers to a blind that can be mounted inside of your window frame or recess. For outside mounting blinds can be mounted up above the window, on the wall. Outside mounting may block lighter. Inside mounted blinds and shades can have small gaps on the side that let some light in. For wider blinds, install additional center support brackets provided for added safety. Side brackets are made of metal, strong enough, not easy to break or deform, durable and sturdy, resistant to fade, and easy to store. Hence, they won't warp or crack in moist conditions.
