Really cute. I’ve bought this as a welcome to the world gift for my first grandchild due any time soon, can’t wait! I’ve also ordered the dumbo in the bath figurine to go on the other windowsill in the baby’s room, hoping it’s as cute when it’s delivered. Thank you Wayfair.. Eve. Widnes, GB. Wed Jul 23 2025

To make this item of beauty, they have to form the shape of the item by pouring liquid clay into a mould, letting this dry, then cleaned and prepared to be fired at 800 degrees. When the pot has cooled after firing, it is taken out of the kiln and the design is marked on the clay pot on the design marks the artist tube lines a fine slip of clay to give it the tube lined effect again, it is then fired at 800 degrees, then it finally goes to the painters who paint the vibrant colours the paint is left to dry glaze is applied and again fired. After being removed from the kiln, it is ready to be packed.

Bluenose was a Canadian fishing and racing schooner from Nova Scotia, built-in 1921. She became a provincial icon for Nova Scotia as well as an important Canadian symbol in the 1930s. The name 'bluenose' originated as a nickname for Nova Scotias from as early as the 18th century. This tribute is nothing short of magnificent. It has a hollow hull, constructed entirely of wood, whilst on deck, there are delightful details such as adjustable rigging blocks, sewn cotton sails, raised gunwales and brass fittings.

Great size and good quality for the price.. Gavin. Doncaster, GB. Sat Mar 08 2025
