The rich, spicy scent of oranges blended with cinnamon is welcomed by many of us as a warm, familiar reminder of the changing seasons, shortening days and a cooler turn to the weather. But did you know cinnamon is one of the oldest known spices in the world? Its intense fragrance and sweet flavour made it popular for its culinary benefits, but it’s also been used for centuries as a herb of healing, spiritual awareness, and protection. Oranges too have long been a favourite in traditional medicine, used to reduce stress and anxiety. The calming aroma of orange essential oil can help to soothe nerves, while its anti-inflammatory properties are believed to ease physical tension. No wonder we love their scents combined! Handmade with 100% eco-friendly soy wax and our trademark, sustainable beeswax-coated hemp wick, this arresting two-tone orange and brown bowl candle is infused with a powerful orange essential oil and cinammon fragrance oil. A distintive hint of cloves is complemented by citrus notes of orange and just a suggestion of vanilla with ginger. Delicious! The candle is presented in a large glass bowl container which not only looks good, but is perfect for many years’ re-use as a vase or jar in your home. It is carefully wrapped in non-bleached tissue and comes in its own bespoke Brayden Studio presentation gift box with a handy care guide - the perfect present ready to go! W: 600g H: 110mm x W90mm

The Honeysuckle, instantly recognisable thanks to its brightly coloured tubular flowers, has had many different meanings throughout history. Today however, it is viewed in many countries as a symbol of happiness and known as the birth flower for June. Because the honeysuckle vine is notoriously hardy and challenging to kill once established (it’s unstoppable in our cottage garden!), it can often be used to symbolise devotion and everlasting bonds, too. In traditional medicine, honeysuckle flowers are often used as remedies for coughs and colds. Superstition has it that the honeysuckle vine can bring good luck and good fortune to your home – and that it can protect you from evil. Handmade with 100% eco-friendly soy wax and your choice of 1 or 2 sustainable beeswax-coated hemp wicks, this zingy orange bowl candle is infused with a sweet honeysuckle fragrance oil and decorated with our own dried honeysuckle flowers and yellow calendula petals . Its large glass bowl container also not only looks good, but is perfect for many years’ re-use as a vase or jar in your home. The candle is carefully wrapped in non-bleached tissue and comes in its own bespoke Brayden Studio presentation gift box with a handy care guide - the perfect present ready to go! W: 600g H: 110mm x W90mm

Prefer the beach to the cottage garden? This is the candle for you! We can't promise the crashing of waves or cry of gulls, but you can sail away with the distinctive marine scents of kelp, sea minerals, driftwood and coastal grasses thanks to this wonderful, long-lasting candle. Made with a sustainable, beeswax-coated hemp wick and 100% eco-friendly soy wax, this sea-green is the perfect way to bring coastal living indoors. The candle is carefully wrapped in non-bleached tissue and comes in its own bespoke presentation kraft gift box with a handy care guide - the perfect present ready to go!

Peonies are truly show stopping plants! They come in over 6000 varieties, bloom in every colour except blue, bear huge multi-layered flowers and can live for 100 years. Although each flower itself only lasts about a week, they are guaranteed to make a major splash in any garden. With their sweet fragrance and bright petals, peonies are often regarded as the symbol of good fortune and happy marriage, and were historically used medicinally to treat a wide variety of ailments from headaches to asthma, and to ease childbirth. Each of our cheery, pink, 100% eco-friendly soy wax bowl candles is highly-scented and inlaid with dried peony petals grown in our Isle of arran coastal garden. We only use organic, unbleached, natural hemp wicks which have a beeswax coating to guarantee a slow, steady burn. Its large glass container also not only looks good, but is perfect for many years’ re-use as a vase or jar. The candle is carefully wrapped in non-bleached tissue and comes in its own bespoke Mercer41 presentation Kraft gift box with a handy care guide - the perfect present ready to go! W: 600g H: 110mm x W90mm

The Holly tree, with its shiny, spiky, thick leaves and bright red berries, is one of the most beloved and respected trees in Celtic mythology. It is said to be the evergreen twin of the Oak and while the Oak controlled the light half of the year, the Holly tree controlled the dark, winter months. Due to its resistance to lightning, it has historically been associated with gods of thunder, and was often planted near dwellings to protect people from lightning strikes. Appreciated in the animal kingdom too, the Holly tree is often sought out by nesting garden birds, providing natural protection from predators. Hollies tend to get less attention from us humans in the Spring months, but their delicate, scented flowers are especially loved then by bees and butterflies. Handmade with 100% eco-friendly soy wax and sustainable beeswax-coated hemp wick, this beautiful, crimson bowl candle is infused with a red berry and holly fragrance oil which has a strong undertone of cedar, black raspberry, balsam and lemon peel. It may be reminiscent of Christmas, but you can enjoy it all year around!
