This Hermle clock features a high polished burl wood walnut finish case with glass door and glass side panels. Inside there's a Hermle 8-day mechanical movement which plays 4/4 Westminster chime and strikes on the hour. The clock also features a white dial with Roman numerals and a swinging pendulum with time adjustment. There's also night-time shut and chime deactivation levers.

I bought this clock as a nice feature for the room. Well made and solid. It has a nice tick to it and every hour there is a single ding on the bell which for me is better than a 2 minute symphony that some have. I purchased this clock to replace a similar one which belonged to my mother and it was about 100 year old but the main spring went. I am happy to say that this clock functions perfectly, in a similar manner to the old one, and was very easy to calibrate against the radio controlled one I have. This clock was a total load of rubbish and definitely was not worth £20.00 let alone £177.00. As stated previously the face of the clock was a wooden cube which was coated in black plastic. The pendulum was bent and even after straightening did not hang fully flat. And the hole to attach it to the wall was drilled in the wrong place.
