[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blanket fits under the sheet and is secured by tapes which go under the mattress and secure on the other side which can be a little tricky, however once on and ready to go there are three heat settings, The highest setting is warm without being too hot. I've been a user of hot water bottles in the past to help with back pain and cramps, but this has been a much better alternative - it stays warm longer, is safer and the material is *so* soft that it alone feels comforting. It heats up quickly and it's good to know it'll switch off automatically, although I haven't used it for long enough that it's actually happened yet. It is a great fit, really comfortable, does not wrinkle up and is easy to set. I have so far only used the lower settings for a few minutes! It warms my cold feet up straight away and that seems to last all night even though it is turned off after a few minutes. Altogether a great present to get an older person !!. Louiseh14.
