Mechanical Vintage Pendulum Clocks

Teeming with texture, this eye catching round wall clock strikes a circular silhouette with two tiers of ribbed accents all along the frame exhibiting a sunburst design. Black and gold shade engulfs the frame to create a subtle contrast with a fixed dial.

This wall clock has a flared, moulded bonnet and a fully moulded base. The off-white dial features Arabic numerals and floral-patterned corner accents. A spun brass pendulum bob appears behind the front-opening glass door which features a polished brass door pull.

Introduced in the late 16th century, the Regulator dramatically improved accuracy in measuring time with the addition of the pendulum to the weight-driven movement. The ''open heart'' design exposes the 7-day brass movement; the antiqued brass face is engraved with large Roman numerals artistically spaced by royal fleur-de-lis detailing. The antiqued brass bell on top strikes the hour, and the pendulum swings rhythmically as the weight lowers.

This wall clock features a distinctive dentil moulding on the profiled pediment with maple and ebony hand-rubbed marquetry overlays at each corner. The white dial offers black Roman numerals and serpentine hour and minute hands. A polished brass lyre pendulum appears behind the locking door.
