John James Audubon, an American ornithologist and painter, is renowned for his unique and meticulous studies documenting bird species in their natural habitats. His attention to detail is awe-inspiring. Studying the Louisana heron (tricoloured ergetta) with its strikingly beautiful long tail feathers and dark blue plumage, Audubon captures the bird perched on a river bank amongst lush vegetation as it grooms itself, creating a captivating scene. The stunning hand-drawn portrait is a testament to Audubon's artistic prowess. The overall composition, with its timeless quality, is a wonder to be appreciated. A mottled gold frame presents the glazed artwork.

Ordered a wrapped canvas, a print was delivered in a tube. Complained and was reimbursed. The correct item was then sent, it was another print in a tube! Turns out they don't sell the wrapped canvas or the framed version even though the website is STILL showing them all as being available. What else are they showing for sale that they don't actually sell? Won't be buying from Wayfair again.. Anonymous. Tue Dec 12 2023
