This elegant specimen brings natural history charm to any space, working beautifully in a study, bedroom, or gallery wall where vintage botanical prints are treasured. A original, printed in the UK on heavyweight satin giclée paper and presented in a clean frame, ready to hang.

John James Audubon, an American ornithologist and painter, is renowned for his unique and meticulous studies documenting bird species in their natural habitats. His attention to detail is awe-inspiring. Studying the Louisana heron (tricoloured ergetta) with its strikingly beautiful long tail feathers and dark blue plumage, Audubon captures the bird perched on a river bank amongst lush vegetation as it grooms itself, creating a captivating scene. The stunning hand-drawn portrait is a testament to Audubon's artistic prowess. The overall composition, with its timeless quality, is a wonder to be appreciated. A mottled gold frame presents the glazed artwork.

Influenced by travel and the beauty in the world around us, Corinne Melanie paints dreamlike and visually aesthetic botanical paintings and colourful abstract designs that transform the room. Passionate about technology and the drive we have as humans to continually evolve and advance, while paradoxically having an innate need to stay connected to our roots and history, Corinne sees her artwork as telling this story; the past and the future is a central theme. With a contemporary, mixed-media style, her style blurs boundaries between digital and traditional mediums as she combines classical subjects such as the sky, clouds and florals into new abstract forms and shape.

This vintage travel poster depicts Japan's iconic Mount Fuji rising majestically above a serene landscape of forested hills and calm waters. Rendered in the early twentieth-century lithographic tradition with bold flat colours of rich green, cream, pale blue, and white, the composition conveys timeless tranquility and natural beauty. The romanticised view and simplified forms characteristic of classic travel poster design make this piece a perfect addition to any room seeking elegance and cultural charm; it works beautifully in living rooms, studies, or spaces celebrating Japanese aesthetics. A finely detailed botanical illustration of a full-blown rose in deep blue ink, accompanied by a delicate rosebud and precisely rendered leaves with visible veining and thorns. Rendered in the classical style of seventeenth and eighteenth-century botanical studies, the composition demonstrates scientific observation through meticulous linear hatching and engraving techniques. The strong contrast between the blue ink and cream background creates visual impact while maintaining the disciplined, naturalistic character of formal botanical documentation. This piece suits a study, gallery wall, or any space valuing natural history and artistic precision. Ordered a wrapped canvas, a print was delivered in a tube. Complained and was reimbursed. The correct item was then sent, it was another print in a tube! Turns out they don't sell the wrapped canvas or the framed version even though the website is STILL showing them all as being available. What else are they showing for sale that they don't actually sell? Won't be buying from Wayfair again.. Anonymous. Tue Dec 12 2023
