The classic cuckoo clock has been restyled in a contemporary fashion with well-defined features and distinct shapes such as the unique asymmetric roof, giving life to a whole new cuckoo clock of minimalist design. Three aligned cylinders in different colors give life to this wall or tabletop cuckoo clock. Tris with its appealing design is an ideal furniture accessory that suits any type of setting or decor. Each element is made of varnished wood and plastic and has its own individual function: the first contains the cuckoo mechanism, the second the hands which are always white, and the last emphasizes the number 3 which indicates the hour but also reinforces the trio concept. This clock is a modern revisited version of the floor pendulum clock well-known as the 'grandfather' clock. The colours which are typical of Chinese tradition blend perfectly with the minimal design which recalls Italian style. Furthermore, the name Bechtold, is the exact spelling of the Italian pronunciation of the Mandarin word. The battery operated cuckoo movement has a light sensor that automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light. A push button allows you to adjust the intensity of sound or turn it off altogether.

The compositional symmetries of Chinese architecture relive with Hillsborough, a wall or table cuckoo clock. A play on words, and on shapes, which gives a nod to elongated oriental profiles, capable of combining straight and slender lines and curved, amusing, and harmonious appendages.

Dark Wood / Red / Green

Crooked, designed by Alberto Sala, is an amusing cuckoo clock of unconventional style with crooked and uneven shapes that intensify its impact design. The recurrence of uneven shapes and cheerful colors skilfully mixed by the designer and applied from the base to the roof of the cuckoo house, make it unique. The round pendulum which is also colored is the only shape they are familiar with. It appears almost unnaturally at the tilted base of the clock highlighting its dis-symmetrical shape. The clock is made of wood and is varnished with nontoxic paint. It features a quartz mechanism, battery-run, with an intelligent sensor that automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light.
