Surprisingly light despite being made of metal. Mounting hardware is provided in the box so no need to jerry-rig one, thankfully. One essential thing to note (a major plus for this clock): the markers for seconds are correct and there are 60 along the edges - not all wall clocks, especially the cheaper ones, have this done correctly and I've seen clocks with only 48!
