It allows you to introduce charm and poise, all without overpowering the existing decor.

For a contemporary alternative to curtains, this blackout pleated blind keeps out the sun in the mornings and allows you greater control throughout the day. It is room darkening with a draw cord and is made from 100% polyester.

Luckily the set up was straight forward (instructions were in German, but had pictures). I have used the blind on the opening window on a door. The clamps that hold it onto the frame stick out more than I expected and one in particular is close to the door handle and scratches my hand when I lift the handle. The operation of the blind is easy and it covers the window well- blocking out the light and reducing the cold feel from the glass. Overall really happy with my purchase .. Sarah. Frodsham, GB. "Optimal energy savings with our roller blinds, pleats, honeycomb pleats and curtains. Translucent or darkened? How about both? The EASYFIX Pleated Day & Night by GARDINIA makes it possible. The Stoff Day is translucent and opaque at the same time. With a crush effect, the pleated is very decorative. The Night fabric complements it perfectly: it darkens the room for a good night's sleep. In addition, it is provided with a thermal coating. Thus, in summer, the heating of the room is reduced. Thanks to the three aluminium control rails, the fabric panels can be pushed up and down as desired. For a secure hold even on the tilted window, the pleated is tensioned. The assembly is carried out according to the EASYFIX principle. Without drilling and screwing, the clamping or adhesive carriers can be attached directly to the window sash."
