[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blanket fits under the sheet and is secured by tapes which go under the mattress and secure on the other side which can be a little tricky, however once on and ready to go there are three heat settings, The highest setting is warm without being too hot. I knew exactly what I wanted and my Wayfair electric heating pad fits the bill perfectly. It serves the same purpose as a hot water bottle and saves me from getting into a cold bed without any effort except plugging it in. No more boiling kettles and taking them upstairs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little heat pad. I've been a user of hot water bottles in the past to help with back pain and cramps, but this has been a much better alternative - it stays warm longer, is safer and the material is *so* soft that it alone feels comforting. It heats up quickly and it's good to know it'll switch off automatically, although I haven't used it for long enough that it's actually happened yet.
