Miss my fireplace! It was so good that I gifted mine to a friend when we moved to a warmer house! But I miss my wee fireplace! It looked great and did the job of warming us up. Highly recommend it!

While some electric inserts require no clearance– meaning the heat is self-contained, the unit is well insulated, and it can be placed almost directly next to the wall– it is typical for them to require up to 1-2 inches of clearance space.
