Dimplex GOSFORD Optimyst Ultra-realistic Electric Flame Effect Stove Fire, 48cm W with remote control

This Dimplex optimyst fire is absolutely amazing. Thank you Dimplex and thank you Wayfair, you have made us very happy. We will have a nice cosy winter.

Really enjoying this electric fire, the effect is very realistic and makes the room cosy. The heat that comes from it keeps the room toasty too. My only down sides would be that the controls aren't very intuitive, most of the time I just press the buttons a couple of times until it does what I'm intending, and the remote is handy but it doesn't seem as though it can be used without going to the button panel on the fire itself most of the time. It's also very slightly louder than I expected when the heat function is on but no big deal and it acts like white noise anyway. Overall the good much outweighs the bad. Delivery from Wayfair was also quite slow, it kept being delayed but I was in no rush so again no big deal.

Realistic flames and enhances lounge

I was looking for something to go in front of our wood burner for the spring and summer months. This fits the bill perfectly giving a very realistic and cosy fire and a fan heater to take the chill off the room very pleased with fire.

It looks so realistic with the smoke effect, and you don’t need to have the heater on to enjoy the effect, and best of all you don’t need to clean it out every day!!
