SA Glazed Unfinished Oak Internal Door

Beautiful door that has completed our new living room. Ordered and dispatched to us very efficiently. My only comment is that it's quite a dark wood - all other oak furniture and oak floor is a lot lighter. Would have been good to have had it the traditional expectation of oak in colour and then been able to stain it as dark as the customer would like. Now I'm confused what varnish to buy as I don't want to accidentally darken it any further. I had wanted to leave it as oak but now considering painting it white to overcome this issue. One important plus is that it was solid enough to withstand substantial trimming to size - we got an expert door installation man to do it and he was impressed.

Needed specific design. Good solid oak veneer door with excellent finish. High quality finish to be painted or stained.
