I ordered the Professional Adjustabe Bathroom Shower Transfer Bench for the guest bathroom in my daughter's home for myself. During the holiday season when I spent my time there. I really had a difficult time getting in and out of the tub to shower. I am a senior citizen and really have to watch out for falls and also cannot stand as long as before. I have a shower seat for my home bathroom, but this transfer seat has a few more features than my old one. It has a clip to hold your shower extension wand and a split seat for a more hygienic bath. The holds are larger so the water can go through the seat quickly. The split seat is supposed to reduce pressure and the legs have non-slip rubber tips. Unlike my original bath seat, it has arms on both sides of the bench to help you lower yourself and to raise up giving you more stability. And I noticed that this bench has cross bars in-between the legs making the chair bench very sturdy. I am looking forward to using this shower bench when I spend another night or two at my daughter's house. I do recommend this bench for any age though if you have a mobility issue or a condition like arthritis. I have not put mine together yet my son-in-law will do that for me when I finally go to visit.
