71.1cm Wood 1 Wall Towel Bar

Would have given this 5 stars (really nice towel bar), but the back is designed to be fastened to the wall like a picture which isn't sturdy enough for everyday towel use. We ended up taking the rack off and screwing it to the wall and then putting the rack back on.

Great quality and easy to hang. Strong and sturdy

I bought two of these that would hang side-by-side in my bathroom. They were shipped separately in individual boxes. When I opened them up I noticed that one of them had a lot of knots that looked like damage. The other one had a nice horizontal wood grain and no knots. Obviously, they weren't going to look very nice next to each other. I returned the one with the knots in hopes that I would get a second one that was very nice like the first one. In the meantime my contractor was trying to see how they were going to hang on the wall. The way that the bracket is raised on the back of the wood does not allow the piece to lay flat on the wall so it will always be wiggly and eventually it's going to wiggle its way out of drywall. The replacement that was sent to me had a lot of knots on it also. The knots on this wood didn't look like natural knots. In light of all of these irregularities, I decided these were not going to work for me and they have since been returned.

The wall-mount is quite attractive. The construction is passable, but not real sturdy and the hanging method is not well conceived for the weight needed to hang towels.
