I'm sure that this is fine, if it can be fitted. It is a really good design idea, although expensive, at 5 times the price of a P trap waste. Our house is 20 years old and the plumber was unable to fit it to our existing waste. A pity, as using a P trap cuts down the space in the new vanity unit. I returned it and Wayfair made a refund. I advise you to check that the measurements given in the description will fit with your existing kit before you order.
