It's perfect. I love the look, sleek and simple. The guy who helped with install wanted me to use a shoe at the top AND bottom (so he didn't have to conceal the handy work) but I wanted as minimal as possible. I actually didn't want to use a shoe at all, to be honest. But my guy convinced me to use the shoe on the bottom only (not the top) and I love how it turned out. I did part of the install myself and it was pretty easy, just a single screw. An obvious but important tip- you will want to position the screw out of view before you secure the baluster.

These stair shoes work perfectly with our railing. That’s being installed. Looks great.

This picture is showing the balusters and at the topbottom, the shoes. which were bought separately. The box I bought had 50 counts which 40 (20 top and 20 bottom) were used to complete two sets of 10 balusters for the upstairs rail. Perfectly complemented! Recommend this purchase 100.

We were excited to try this new look in one of our renovation flips. The Vevor shoes for the balusters worked out perfectly. My contractor figured out how to orchestrate them.
