It worked well. My husband can't walk too well, but now that we have this tub transfer seat, we can use the tub, which was too deep to get into before. Now, I can wash him each morning more thoroughly than with just a sponge bath. I like that I could remove the middle part of the seat for more comfort for him.

The transfer system worked beautifully. My husband recently had surgery and is still not back on his feet. We were able to get him onto the chair which slides into the bathtub. Using the hand-held showerhead, he was able to enjoy his first shower in a while.

it was easy to assemble and the only thing I would change is the two bars that the seat slide on should be better marked because you need to have them right or the seat won't lock,
