With my mother's Parkinson's and cognitive decline things have gotten really difficult of late, especially when she stopped being able to stand much and walk, this has been a wonderful addition to the home. Not only is it a commode but there's a cover over the commode so that it can be truthfully a transport chair with removable feet, handles on each side and locking wheels.

I haven't used it yet, but it is nice quality and appearance. It was easy to assemble, and I like that it has adjustable backrest. It appears that I might be able to adjust the footrests if needed, but like I said, I haven't tried it yet. The only thing that may be an issue is that it is so lightweight that it may not be sturdy enough for my mom to self-transfer into, since she tends to put all her weight onto one armrest to do so. I can easily accommodate that by having her transfer next to a grab bar area. I think it will be great! Thanks.

The legs rests arent adjustable by the way, but we just keep them off.
