This fire is lovely very mesmerising and is an asset to any front room. But alas the surrounding mantle is not high quality it is unfortunately rough/ unfinished on top not smooth - I don’t even think it has a protective layer on top to prevent scuffing so you may need buy a glass top protector. This fireplace is a stylish and modern wall-mounted fireplace suite with an off-white, floor-standing, MDF mantle. Due to the LED technology, the fireplace is low cost to run when using the flame and lighting effects – less than £4 per year if used for 5 hours per day.
