Item arrived undamaged and packaged well. I have a weird staircase. It is open with I guess what is the cieling as you go down. I recieved the other black stair rail from wayfair the other day and it only assists with about 4 steps. I purchased this rail to assist with the other part. Easy to put together and install. My mother is going to appreciate this next time she goes downstairs! I like the look of these. Makes my basement under construction look so much better. Would recommend!
