Bought to replace an Ideal Standard Concept seat. Not an exact match but good enough, especially considering the price difference! The rubber fittings were quite tight and needed a bit of forcing to get them in. The bolts were too long so I had to cut them down to from 6mm to about 4.5mm but they still seem to tighten ok. Quality seems good.. Russell Hill. South Coast. Thu Aug 11 2022

The Harbour Housewares collection of Wooden Toilet Seats offers a quick and convenient way to freshen up the look of your bathroom. Each seat has been crafted from MDF to provide a sturdy and comfortable product ideally suited to the daily demands of any modern home. The use of natural wood in preference to plastic or resin means a higher resistance to changes in temperature - something certainly worth considering when it comes to the colder months! Our seats have also been fitted with a soft close function, designed to ensure they lower gently onto the bowl. Not only does this eliminate the unpleasant sound of clattering toilet seats (parents rejoice!), but it also means your seat will last longer without the risk of cracking or chipping from repeated impact. Available in a choice of colors, the lids of these seats feature a grooved design that brings a rich modern character to any interior. Installation is easy, with all necessary fixtures and fittings provided in the box.

D-Shaped Toilet Seat/Soft Close with Quick Release/White, 46 x 36 cm/Easy Top Fix Installation/Durable & Hygienic Bathroom Seat

I needed a loo seat for a spare bathroom with a slightly off-norm toilet, and that was the closest. It DOES fit, but not only the fittings are far from the standard ones, but they are not very good at staying screwed in, due to the ruber expansion plug jamming quite a bit. As well, the top is curved outwards quite a bit, so it tends to bash into the reservoir at the back and you have to stabilise it when lifting it so it doesn't pop back down. Had I known I'd have not bought. Anonymous. Wed Sep 16 2026

I’ve not broken the cellophane on the lid? but the box is a bit broken in the corner & it was damaged when I received it If the company are as good as their word they will let me!!!. Lesley.
