I purchased this particular one as it was to replaced an electric fire , we are renovating our home and we are currently living in a mobile home , so it basically fit right into the space and nothing more needed . At first i didn’t know what to think I didn’t feel a huge blast of heat from it although it looked well . Now I love it and so happy with it . It definitely warms the room up after 30 mins of so without having the central heating on all the time . It works well for me and my needs for now and I am really happy with it .. Anonymous. Still waiting for it to be delivered! Ordered it on 18th December as a Christmas present and it’s still showing as being in Italy. It has now been reduced in price which is annoying. Nice fireplace, good quality feel. Only issue i had is that the bracket was too big for the fireplace. The bracket was 29cm long and the slot in the back of the fire, into which the bracket should fit, was 28cm. Judicial use of a chisel resolved a problem that shouldnt exist.. Dave. Corby, GB. Stunning fire, really easy to put together by myself and didn’t take long at all. There’s just one quite alarming design flaw with it and that is the design of the fire and the handle that you use to extinguish the fire. You cannot slide the plate across without potentially burning yourself as the glass panel is in the way. We are going to try and change the handle to enable us to slide it across from the side. This is in our lounge, which is quite large, a 0.5 ltr bottle of bio ethanol lasts approx 90mins and heats a very cold in approx 15mins to a very warm temperature. It looks modern and simple. I would suggest that the fittings need to be more robust, my father is a precision engineer and due to the weight of the product he made and fitted a steel plate to go above the ceiling beams.
