This is a solidly constructed piece of furniture and no assembly is required. Once plumbed in space will be used within the cupboard for the waste. It is recommended that all wooden worktops are coated with a satin yacht varnish prior to use to keep them looking as good as new and protected from water that can splash out the basin and sit, this should be done every 12 months. Please also take into account that natural stone has taken millions of years to form making each piece unique, this means it will vary in colour, texture, and marking, you must seal the stone with a quality impregnating sealer, again easily sourced at most good DIY stores, this will prevent most spills from damaging it.

Dreadful service - finally arrived 2 weeks later than date I was given. Was told it would be here yesterday afternoon/evening so changed my plans to be here - nothing. Today it was just left outside my door, delivery man didn’t even ring the doorbell - thank goodness it wasn’t raining and I was home but as a 73 year old with a bad back it was an arduous task to get it in the house! Unpacked the boxes and surprise surprise the unit is not the same colour as I ordered, the marble top is quite different too and there’s a sizeable chip in the edge of it!! Delivery was quick once it was back in stock all came wrapped very well and looks really well made however i was a tad surprised that you have to drill the holes in the top counter for the drain and taps and the top half is self assembly, ,not sure if i missed that in the spec ,but still very good value and will look great once fitted.
