The 16" edge inset electric fire has all the features you could wish for 1 & 2 kW heat output settings, remote control operation, contemporary metal fascia, and 75mm inset rebate making flat-to-wall installation possible in the majority of marble and timber surrounds, not to mentions a beautiful soothing flame effect.

The inset fire is very stylish and slim, so that it fits the space and quiet in operation so just what we wanted. I would have given 5 stars but we did have to wait from ordering on 31st October until delivery on 17th November with no information other than ‘item is delayed’ I telephoned at the end of last week and that seemed to speed up the process. Also there is a scratch on the glass front of the fire, not noticeable unless you get up close. However, I assume the good discount was because the item isn’t perfect and I would have preferred to be told and be given the option to purchase a fire in perfect condition. This fireplace is a contemporary design with an off-white MDF mantle and plinth and a toughened glass-fronted electric fire. The product is supplied in one box with MDF plinths fitted. Simply use the wall mounting bracket supplied to mount onto your wall. The base plinth also includes led lighting that can be operated independently. Due to the led technology, the fireplace is low cost to run when using the flame and lighting effects – less than £4 per year if used for 5 hours per day. The product comes with a digital LCD display remote control which includes a seven-day programmer, a thermostat with the display, a room-temperature sensor, open window detection, and adaptive start control (turns on the heater to warm the room ready for the programmed start time). The heater automatically switches between 1 and 2kw depending on the room temperature and set the temperature required and can be used with or without the led lighting. To meet the requirements of eco-design 2018 (lot 20), this product is designed and manufactured to produce the optimum energy efficiency available for space heaters.
