It’s a good radiator. I found the best way to work it is by putting it up to the maximum heat on both controls, then as soon as it’s up there it’ll switch the light off, you can then work backwards slowly till you get your ideal heat that keeps the room warm but not overheated. If you want you can also start with the lowest setting and work upwards, but it takes longer to find the optimum heat this way , I’ve found. Once it has started to keep the room at an even temperature I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the electric bill. Initially until it gets to temperature you want, the cost is higher, but it didn’t take long. I now have it on setting 1 and the lowest section of heat, and have it on all the time. It’s keeping the room constant heating. Taking any chill off.. Anonymous. Sat Jan 17 2026

At 25 cm tall and 1.15 kg it fits on a desk, a bedside table or a narrow windowsill, and can be carried from room to room in one hand. A PTC ceramic element and a DC fan mean heat comes through straight away, with no metal element to warm up first. 【What it costs to run】 Based on the Ofgem price cap average of 26.32p per kWh (1 October to 31 December 2026, with no VAT on domestic electricity until 31 March 2027): · 1500W — about 39p an hour · 900W — about 24p an hour ECO mode drops to 900W once the room reaches 18°C and idles above 25°C, so it does not sit at full power all evening.
