It’s a good radiator. I found the best way to work it is by putting it up to the maximum heat on both controls, then as soon as it’s up there it’ll switch the light off, you can then work backwards slowly till you get your ideal heat that keeps the room warm but not overheated. If you want you can also start with the lowest setting and work upwards, but it takes longer to find the optimum heat this way , I’ve found. Once it has started to keep the room at an even temperature I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the electric bill. Initially until it gets to temperature you want, the cost is higher, but it didn’t take long. I now have it on setting 1 and the lowest section of heat, and have it on all the time.
