This is a very heavy base. Fine if you don't want to move it around much. I suppose it's designed for big umbrellas.

Too light for a free standing umbrella in the wind. Has rusted quickly and doesn't hold the umbrella vertical.

No complaints here! Arrived quickly and in one piece. The umbrella base is very sturdy, high quality, heavy, simple yet stunning and will do the job! Very easy to assemble the two pieces together, cant wait to try my umbrella out this summer!
