Abbeygale Alder and Birch Cutting Board

Features

• The Wood By You. You are not Cutting - You are Planting! One Tree will be planted when you buy this chopping board
• Keeps Knives Sharp. The end grain cutting board is a board which has wood fibers arranged perpendicularly, not parallel, to the cutting surface. That is why knives stay sharp for longer and require rare sharpening, as the blade can slip between the exposed individual fibers but not to crash them. As a result this type of boards are widely used by the famous Chefs
• Long Lasting Board. When you chop on a TheWoodByYou board, you should not worry about the left over cuts on the surface from a knife, thanks to the same perpendicular arrangement of individual elements of the board, the tree fibres quicky ‘overgrow’ or tighten, leaving no damage. That's why with a proper care it lasts even longer than you think
• Antibacterial. Our boards are antibacterial thanks to the natural antiseptic properties of the timber we are using and vertical arrangement of wooden elements where the fissures made by the knife merge thus blocking bacterial spread. Moreover end grain structure helps not to absorb ordors and not to retain any unpleasant leftover smells of products
