Their food service products, such as their cheeseboards and servicing trays, have been treated with acrylic lacquer. Their special acrylic lacquer completely seals the slate ensuring food safety and allowing for ease of cleaning (only for a few exclusive/finest products). To maintain the appearance of these items over time and hide scratches, a natural/cooking oil can be re-applied using a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not wash in the dishwasher; Do not use with abrasive pan scrubs; Do not place in either a conventional or a microwave oven. Their slate products are heat resistant perfect for hot pans and dishes; fridge and freezer safe. Please keep away from children under 18 years old, this is not a toy.
