There is a few things you need to know with this fridge, which if I had know before purchase I would have stayed well away.
1. It cant go under a counter because of the air flow it apparently requires.
2. When you open the instruction booklet it tells you the fridge needs lots of air flow, 200mm, room either side, 300mm behind and above, yes 20 30 cm all around it, so it stays cool, which is just crazy. We bought the fridge to go between the side of a sofa a wall, it has 5cm either side and about 20cm behind it. Let me say this, it gets very hot at the back up the sides.
There is also a removable drip tray at the back which you need to be able to have access to, it sits just above the compressor, it also gets very very hot, so much so I burned the back of my fingers , on the top of the compressor,trying to remove the drip tray, which is a nightmare to remove. Weve had to put the fridge on a wheeled trolley just to be able to get to the back of it, another £15 spent, Honestly its a nightmare to remove and put back.
Finally, it doesnt get that cold on say level 2or3, 4 is ok but weve had to have it on level 5 constantly just to keep cans of beer and bottle water cool. Its not that quiet either, its not noisy but you will hear it humming away in the background.
Finally the doors, wow, what a nightmare, we wanted ours to open from the left but swapping them over was a disaster, the holes at the bottom underneath are not drilled out, so in order to swap the doors over we had to measure drill and tap them ourselves, it was horrendous. When you reverse the doors, the little lugs that pop in to the screw holes ( to cover them up and fill the holes),all broke, we had to glue them on to cover the holes and finally the screws are not Allen key, they are Philips screwdriver but good luck removing them with a screwdriver, we had to use a 8mm ring spanner just to get leverage and grip to rotate them.
My final complaint is the fridge comes with a very thin cling film all over it, protection from scratches while in transit I guess, but removing it all took an hour, its also is a nightmare to remove.
In summary AVOID THE FRIDGE FREEZER unless its in a space all of its own, you have good Access to the back, (youll probably need to put it on a wheeled trolly),you dont want to reverse the doors youve got some oven gloves to remove the drip tray lol. Honestly I highly recommend looking elsewhere, the worst 160 quid weve spent.
