Mapleview Metal Bed

Unfortunately the first bed frame came with incorrect integral brackets and had to be replaced. I’ve now had the second bed frame for 4 months and it’s already starting to fail. Only 4 short screws secure the side panels to the bed head. They’ve become very loose and now the whole frame is unstable. A shame because it’s a lovely looking bed - just quite cheaply and poorly made.

The mattress is a bit firmer than we expected so we’ve added our old feather topper and it’s now perfect. The best thing we’ve noticed is how one of us can roll over without the whole mattress shaking and disturbing the other one.

It's a lot darker than the photo (oak coloured of course but the photo was almost like pine! Happy none the less but found an issue with the slats not lining up with the bed (instructions specifically say they need to and screw it to the frame) and so worried about how strong it will be

Very pleased with this maple bed which was easy to assemble and looks very good.
