Square Steel Wood Burning Smokeless Fire Pit

Just received and put it together. Like most reviews, the plastic corners should not be plastic. They give you an extra one which means they anticipate them breaking. One corner broke bad enough that it could not be used. It's replacement cracked but i still used it. I don't know why anyone would use plastic anything next to a heat source. If it gets to the point that more crack or distort from the heat i will replace with 1/2" copper pipe elbows. The fit is pretty close. The instructions are not great and the pictures are black and white so you can't see any details as to which side the screws start on etc. i am handy so i caught on easily. The lid and the screened areas are pretty thin as is the cover. The poker is very short so you will have a good portion of your arm over flaming logs. I paid $117 ish for mine. I would not pay what they say retail is at $299.99. It's yet to be used i assume it will do it's job but look abused in a short matter of time. But not to be totally negative, the pit is generously sized and i liked the screened sides because it will allow more heat towards people's leg and foot area instead of just out of the top.

Really fragile plastic corners. 3 were cracked upon receiving them. The top of the pit was also scratched up in different places. This could be a decent deal if these issues would be addressed.

Love the fire pit. Great value for the price.

This item fell just short of my rather low expectations. It arrived in a beat up box. It is cheaply made-in-China flimsy metal as expected. Assembly was easy until the ring part. The four rods did not easily fit into the four elbow corner connectors. Three of four cracked during assembly. One broke entirely. There was an extra elbow in the kit, otherwise I would have sent it all back. Even with gentle finessing of these pieces, the plastic still cracked. Ultimately, these plastic corners are not critical load bearing pieces, so I'll keep the fire pit, but I would not recommend it.

I received my fire pit today but only to see that everything looks good except the defect on one side. The other three sides are fine. The pit is a decent size not too big.
