Petty Planter Box

Wonderful planters, a great idea love the self watering feature, they are a great size and a great colour, I got the White ones.

Have only just potted some lavender up in this so hard to know how well it works so far. Using this as the lavender was having issues from infrequent watering, which is why the colour of them is a little patchy. I’m hoping this will help. Quality seems good and sturdy. It came with a bracket to clip on the top to reduce the sides bowing out which is good. There aren’t any instructions to set this up potting-wise, but I found a few videos on YouTube for self watering pots which were very helpful. From my personal experience with plants, I’d recommend putting a layer of large grit at the bottom of this before the compost to reduce root rot, as it isn’t good to have the soil sitting directly in water. This may depend on the plant though and your our experiences with plant keeping.

They are good quality. Only problem is that they fill with water when it rains and now all plants have drowned
