Meacham Iron Freestanding 5 - Hook Coat Rack

We wanted this for a tiny alcove where wall fixing is difficult. Short of getting something purpose made, this was all I could find. It does the job, was delivered when said, assembled no problem and looks quite well made and finished. In my view it's not quite freestanding as described as it does have two wall fixing screws to stop it toppling over. It's pretty stable without them though. The shape of the hooks mean some coats don't stay on very easily, but most are fine. So it's all generally pretty good, but even with a discount/sale price it's a lot more than many of the other coat stands. It only really holds five coats and is obscured when it has coats on it. Therefore unless you really set on this or have a specific place that only this suits there are stands that ar a lot cheaper and could hold more coats.

Takes up very little room and very stylish in my modern town house

Great product. Well made and easy to assemble. Very happy with this.

If I had received it via UPS I would be able to tell you what I thought. I do think UPS is rubbish. No stars T the moment.
