The plant pots are lovely. The service was not as great. Delivery was to be Thursday Aug. 1/19, we were notified on Aug. 1 that it was delayed until Tuesday Aug. 6. They were to notify us by text 1 hr prior to delivery, they sent an email instead on Saturday Aug 3 that they would be arriving between 11:00am and 1:00pm, I was not expecting them so never checked my emails. They arrived at the centre at 11:51am. Luckily one of our Members was at the Centre and received the 8 parcels or they would have been left unsecure for the weekend. It took 3 of us 2 hours to unpack the pots as there was so much plastic wrap around them. That was not including the 2 trips we had to make to the dump to dispose of the Styrofoam and plastic . Environmentally friendly the packing was not.Two of the planters were damaged at the a corner, how this could happen when there was so much wrapping is beyond me. They must have been damaged when they were being put in the boxes, one of the broken pieces was found in the box. One of the planters was very thin on one side and you could see daylight through the side. We have kept the planters as there was no time to return them and have them replaced as we were having a function. You should not have to return items when you pay a premium price.
