My first impression on opening the plastic wrapping was wow! The wood looks beautiful, not to many knots, and the colour of the timber is fantastic. Building it was a different matter, some of the beams were warped but I managed with some ingenuity to straighten them using trailer ratchet straps. Building it on your own is difficult with just the odd help from my wife. Now it is up, it looks brilliant, now I'm just deciding which roof covering to get, where we live it needs a bit more than roof felt.
