It has a design flaw in that the circle of metal on the base is higher than the feet so if you hit it with your shoe, the stand flies forward into you. I bought a 15” circle of wood that is 1/2 “ high which helped some. On the positive side, it assembles quickly and is lightweight so is portable.

I was actually surprised at how perfect this was for my needs. For a tall, slender coat rack it's sturdier than expected, easy to put together and can display a ton of my crochet bags at holiday events. It matches our wrought iron accented decor, so I plan to keep it at the front door during the year and see how it goes. With so many hooks it may become the drop off spot for everything.

Nice coat rack - lots of room for coats. You do have to balance the coasts on both side of the rack or it may tip over
