Jeffords 3-in-1 Folding Exercise Bike 8-Level Magnetic Resistance Black

I am very pleased with this bike. Easily stored as folds up

Very prompt delivery. Easy to assemble (but see (iv) below). Looks smart but a number of minor faults noted on receipt. (i) stem twisted so that handlebars were about 10 degrees from perpendicular to bike. Usable but might cause muscle problems later. (ii) mobile phone holder broken (iii) epoxy coating incomplete exposing rusted metal on stand (iv) display unit (which differs from that in the assembly instructions) does not actually fit in the space within the handlebars - needed to bend the bracket in order to assemble bike Comfortable cycling position but not able to lower seat far enough for partner (5'3") to ride with correct posture (legs too far extended at bottom of rotation). Would not recommend for people with short legs. Resistance range suitable for those wanting it just to keep in trim but not taxing enough for training for cycling on the road. This is not a criticism - it is not aimed at that market. Unable to get pulse meter to give anything but random numbers. Summary: good product for market it is aimed at, but let down by poor quality control.

This is a good sturdy bike and I like the fact it folds for storage.It was a bit fiddly to put together on my own so would be easier with a helpmate.Assembly instructions not bad but nothing on how to programme the monitor(2 AAA batteries needed,not mentioned)The monitor works but as no instructions have yet to work out how to use it effectively and I am pretty au fait with technology.I have given up on this and think some literature on using the bike should have been included.
