I had a very small awkward space in which to put a coat stand and this fits it perfectly. It was not made clear that the upstand comes in 3 sections but that works for me because it is on steps and I can buy a second one to fit next to it for jackets by using only two parts of the upright. The quality of the section joins and welding of the joints was not good, but that does not matter in this instance.
