Completed with Styrene safety glazing and the doors are also fitted with a lockable lever handle. It is constructed on 34 mm square framing and clad with planed shiplap tongue and groove boards made only from the highest grade, slow grown, FSC approved, northern European pine. The summer house is supplied with a dip-treated base coat preservative ready for you to top coat to your choice immediately on installation; this could be a paint or a stain. The windows and doors are joinery made quality and a storm-resistant design. The floor is constructed using T&G boards. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and access for painting and during installation.

Brighton 44 is a spacious and bright summer house, which is well suited for a home office, a place to spend leisure time with friends and family, or just as a summer house. The L-shaped space solution and the small terrace with a canopy and a tasteful lattice wall are both personal and practical. Double-glazed and sealed windows and doors with large glass surfaces are a great choice for our climate, allowing you to prolong the summer in the cold and also giving you a chance to stay in the garden in rainy weather. The house set includes all the necessary parts for installation: impregnated base frame, wall details, floorboards and skirting boards, roof beams/boards, and moldings but also hardware (handles/nails/screws). The house set does not include any roofing materials but shingles and roofing felt can be purchased extra. If you prefer a model with a similar layout but with a modern flat roof, we recommend a slightly larger Orkney as an alternative to the Brighton 44.

First of all 5 stars and more to Wayfair especially to Lucy in customer services for sorting out the issues we had with the summer house. Summer house arrived on time. Good communication from the delivery company regarding emails and text messages - no problems until we started to check the package. So due to the issues we had I am only giving the summer house 3 stars at a push simply for the quality of the summerhouse. Sadly the workmanship is a little poor, nails either too far in creating holes for you to fill with wood filler, or nails that need an hammer to tap in but not all can be tapped in due to how near the nails are to the windows. (Windows are perspex and not glass). Nails sticking out here there and everywhere. Arrived with some parts damaged, 1 x window dropped out as it wasnt nailed in (nails missing). Bits of wood broken and cracked which we managed to sort. Instructions are pretty poor but we are skilled people so we did work it out eventually. Panels arrived with nails in wrong places or nails cracking the wood nails also where they shouldn't be so had to be cut off using a dremel (couldn't hammer them back out due to the angle they had been put in during the manufacturing process). We bought extra sanding sheets and wood filler before painting it. The reason we didn't send it back was due to the fact we do actually love it and it was the correct and perfect size for our small garden. Took roughly 3 to 4 hours to put up and took around 3 coats of paint over a few days. Rang Wayfair and supplied them with plenty of photos of the damages and flaws. Our 44mm log cabins feature uPVC Double Doors and 'Tilt and Turn' Opening Windows in Anthracite Grey, offering security and insulation with toughened double glazing and a 5-point locking mechanism. The cabin is under 2.5m in height, bypassing most planning permission restrictions, and constructed with 44mm thick high-grade Timber walls. The Thornham summerhouse with its stunning beach hut styling will make a feature all the neighbours will talk about! The Thornham is approximately 7 ft x 5 ft plus a small veranda and steps making it approximately 9 ft deep overall. It has high quality double doors which open out to the front and two opening windows, all glazed with glass. The Thornham provides a lovely outdoor room perfect for relaxing with a book or summer dining. The building is constructed on 34mm square framing and clad with planed shiplap tongue and groove boards made only from the highest grade, slow grown, FSC approved, Northern European pine. The roof is solid sheet OSB and the floor is 12 mm matching T&G. The summer house is supplied with a dip treated base coat preservative ready for you to top coat to your own preference immediately on installation. The window and doors are joinery made quality and of a storm resistant design. All fixings, roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building. Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy.

This modular pent summerhouse is extremely versatile, due to the fact that the side panels can be assembled in any order. The shed is manufactured from 12mm shiplap tongue groove timber, which has been dipped treated. The shed is supplied with a tongue groove floor and roof as standard. The windows are 3mm toughened glass and the door is braced and ledged for extra strength and rigidity.

Perfect for what we wanted, quality of wood is good. You have to creosote or paint the wood when it arrives, which is very time consuming but looks fab when done. We chose to use light brown creosote which complements it beautifully. Easy to assemble. But instructions are poor, difficult to understand. Luckily my husband is good and constructing things. The double-glazed, floor-to-ceiling window brings plenty of light into the room, making Carlisle a good choice for a small yet bright home office or workspace. The house set includes all the necessary parts for installation: impregnated base frame, wall details, floorboards and skirting boards, roof beams, roof boards and roof moldings, and opening windows. In addition, the package also contains hardware screws, nails, etc. The house set does not include a roof covering, it is possible to buy both roofing felt and roof shingles.

My first impression on opening the plastic wrapping was wow! The wood looks beautiful, not to many knots, and the colour of the timber is fantastic. Building it was a different matter, some of the beams were warped but I managed with some ingenuity to straighten them using trailer ratchet straps. Building it on your own is difficult with just the odd help from my wife.
