This is surprisingly good for the price. Sturdy desk, good design, high quality surface finish even though it's fake wood, easy assembly. I was worried about hitting my shins on the shelf below the desk surface, but the desk has enough depth for that not to be much of a problem. The only somewhat unfortunate feature that I found is that the shelf happens to be at a height where it covers up wall sockets that at the typical UK height. This sturdy free-standing desk is deeper than other units in the collection to provide a generous work area however the height compliments the range. Complete with two cable management ports and a modesty panel it also features a skirting overhang for wall placement. Made from furniture quality MFC which is resistant to hot cups and scratches. The top features a 40mm overhang to the rear for clearance of plugs etc. All panels are 18mm thick, including the important back panel which ensures added strength and rigidity. Available in several attractive finishes with each piece being hand-finished to a high standard. Your furniture will arrive disassembled with an easy-read assembly guide and built-in fixings require just a crosshead screwdriver to complete. All units are pre-assembled prior to packing to ensure easy assembly on arrival. Please be aware that this product is of superior quality and therefore heavy. You may require assistance for room placement.

Part of our Home Office Collection, our Newport Computer Desk can even fit discretely under the stairs or in a bedroom, box room or in the corner of a dining room as it is just 80cm wide. There is still room for you to spread out though with your paperwork and your laptop or keyboard and monitor. Best of all, you can shut everything away at the end of the day as there is a slide-in and slide out keyboard shelf.
