Delivery was fine, the driver phoned 25 mins before he arrived. it is a kerbside drop, it is written in the paperwork that they wont move the shed to the back garden or a place of your choosing so be prepared to lug it yourself. As provided I would rate this shed as 1/5 but with an amount of work 4/5 A good concrete or slabbed base is essential. Allow about £250 for what you also need if you want a good shed. The shed is best painted before assembly, I bought 2 nine litre tubs of Cuprinol Ducksback wood care. I used about 75% of what I bought. The floor will not take any type if weight and is not fit for purpose so I bought 7 1220mm x 2440mm x 18mm OSB3 boards to cover the floor pre assembly. The ends of the side and end panels will all need trimming to obtain any chance of a good fit. You will also need to measure the width of the side panels as the middle roof panels will need trimming to the same length as they need to match on assembly. The roof will support no weight of anybody climbing on it to screw the roof down or attach roof felt. You need to put all the screws you can to pin the roof down then where you can't reach add brackets between the roof and cross members inside the shed. The roof felt will need to be attached across the roof not down the roof as in the plans. Lay the felt over the roof after cutting to size and I suggest pushing over the top with a rake then use Thompson's high performance roof seal 2.5 litre black from screwfix to seal the different felt strips together and the felt tacks for along the guttering. I used a telescopic extendable window cleaner that will hold a brush to cover the seams with the sealer. I also added weather strip to the doors and modified them for my own needs. It features a set of double doors on the left side of the shed with three windows on the right side providing an adequate amount of light. The roof is covered with 20kg of green mineral felt. Due to the well-designed build, it is supplied with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee.

This 10 Ft. W x 20 Ft. D Shiplap Apex Wooden Shed is a high quality, handmade workshop with unique features. The 44 x 44 mm framing is significantly larger than standard framing giving the building immense strength. The lockable doors are fully framed and braced, they are fitted with a full-length piano hinge for added security. The high-grade shiplap cladding provides much-improved weatherproofing and longevity. The internal working height is 6 feet at the eaves providing a really comfortable working environment. Both roof and floor are of tongued and grooved pine and the floor has close spaced bearers for added support. The windows are storm resistant joinery quality frames glazed with 3 mm glass. All of the timber is sourced only from very slow grown, high grade, FSC, European pine. The building is provided with a basecoat treatment ready for top coating by the customer immediately after installation. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

On a positive note, I'm delighted with my shed. It is larger than expected and meets my needs perfectly. It is of solid build and of smart appearance, a tasteful addition to our outbuildings. The 10 x 8 foot shed took two suitably experienced men nine hours to put up, but this could have been shortened. There were some unnecessarily time-consuming issues. For example, two of the floor joists were not flush and had to be taken up, re-cut, and reassembled. Also, our flat-pack contained 2 or 3 unnecessary items (e.g., a narrow role of felt, and several redundant bits of wood). This caused us to waste further time trying to figure out where these surplus items were meant to be placed (the instructions and video demo weren't any help). The video was generally valuable, but it showed a smaller, simpler shed assembly, which wasn't much help for the 8 x 10 foot shed under construction. One final gripe: whilst Power Sheds clearly state in their sales literature that the delivery is 'kerbside delivery only', our driveway opens onto a narrow country lane with no kerb or pavement. Therefore, I had expected that the delivery would be made onto our wide driveway (every lorry in the 20 years we've lived here has been able to reverse into our property). But the delivery driver declined to reverse in and instead tried in vain to use the puny hand operated fork-lift to move the pallet into our property (it was unable to travel over the stone chippings). As a result, the pallet was left awkwardly abutting the lane, presenting a hazard to traffic. In summary, I would constructively suggest that greater care is taken when cutting the shed sections and also when preparing the flat pack assembly components. As for the delivery company, maybe a smaller lorry might work for properties with gravel/chipping driveways? Overall though, the issues were overcome and I'm delighted with the shed. Many thanks.. On a positive note, I'm delighted with my shed. It is larger than expected and meets my needs perfectly. It is of solid build and of smart appearance, a tasteful addition to our outbuildings. The 10 x 8 foot shed took two suitably experienced men nine hours to put up, but this could have been shortened. There were some unnecessarily time-consuming issues. For example, two of the floor joists were not flush and had to be taken up, re-cut, and reassembled. Also, our flat-pack contained 2 or 3 unnecessary items (e.g., a narrow role of felt, and several redundant bits of wood). This caused us to waste further time trying to figure out where these surplus items were meant to be placed (the instructions and video demo weren't any help). The video was generally valuable, but it showed a smaller, simpler shed assembly, which wasn't much help for the 8 x 10 foot shed under construction. One final gripe: whilst Power Sheds clearly state in their sales literature that the delivery is 'kerbside delivery only', our driveway opens onto a narrow country lane with no kerb or pavement. Therefore, I had expected that the delivery would be made onto our wide driveway (every lorry in the 20 years we've lived here has been able to reverse into our property). But the delivery driver declined to reverse in and instead tried in vain to use the puny hand operated fork-lift to move the pallet into our property (it was unable to travel over the stone chippings). As a result, the pallet was left awkwardly abutting the lane, presenting a hazard to traffic. In summary, I would constructively suggest that greater care is taken when cutting the shed sections and also when preparing the flat pack assembly components. As for the delivery company, maybe a smaller lorry might work for properties with gravel/chipping driveways? Overall though, the issues were overcome and I'm delighted with the shed. Many thanks..
