The gate panels measure 71cm, but these can be mounted at any desired distance from the floor, obviously ensuring your child cannot crawl underneath. The wider frame provides a more solid feel to the gate, ensures a quieter closing mechanism, and provides greater protection. The post is blank without any holes drilled to allow the fitter to best position the fence panel to suit the application, on-site drilling is required. Bolt-down bolts are not included. It is not advisable to use bolt-down posts for gates because the turning motion of the gate will loosen the post out of the ground. Gates should ideally use concrete-in posts.
