The metal seesaw is made of powder coated steel and is galvanized inside and out. The two seats of PP plastic are very easy to clean, so that you can continue playing immediately after a rain shower. For extra safety, the seesaw comes with a user-friendly anchoring system, with which you can firmly anchor it in the garden. Thanks to the ground anchor and the anchor tube, the seesaw can be secured in the ground. When mowing the lawn, you can easily remove the seesaw from the ground and put it back later. Fast shipping. Building does take time. I’m a contractor and it took me 7 hour to complete alone. The directions were straight forward. It would be a challenge for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined. The packaging was fantastic and instructions were simple to understand. I assembled the dome by myself but found that, unless you have a deep socket you will need a ring spanner or adjustable. I purchased some tube end caps as they are not supplied, I didn’t want little fingers getting into the cavity. The cavity was also filling with rain water and not draining out. Dried and a spray of WD then capped should prolong the life of the nuts and bolts. See photos and it finishes the dome. You will need 25mm caps and I paid £4.18 for 20 but you only need 16. This is the perfect sized at home play structure for our two year old. It took two men about 3.5 hours to assemble. It is sturdy and I feel comfortable with my toddler playing on it.
