Marcel Wanders gives this corkscrew the form of a lively, jumping jester bedecked in a multicoloured diamond costume. The Jester appears atop one of those platforms that circus artists use to perform their acts, as they prepare to dazzle with a leap or a pirouette. The designer cleverly conceals the functional parts of the corkscrew within the design of the character. The element resembling a circus platform conceals the worm and is the part positioned on the neck of the bottle, while the jester's pointed hat forms a practical grip that facilitates removal of the cork.

Simplicity is seen in the form and is appreciated every day Cutlery set composed of six table spoons, six table forks, six table knives, six coffee spoons in 18/10 stainless steel mirror polished. It belongs to the cutlery set Ovale designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The Ovale collection strives to be original, but it also wants to be rustic and traditional. We set out in pursuit of delicate expression. This composition speaks about every day life, about breakfast, lunch, about everyone getting together for dinner. There is a desire for simplicity.

Much better than the picture. Modern. Elegant. Well balances. There is nothing not to like about about this cutlery. We like these so much we are planning to order a another set of six place settings. These are a real winner!. Martyne. Merritt Island, FL. Sun Feb 08 2015

Palle Presepe: With the characters carefully hung on the tree, the nativity scene can go everywhere Christmas bauble in blown glass. The Christmas balls Angioletto is part of the project Le Palle Presepe designed by Marcello Jori. This design by Marcello Jori combines two great traditions, the nativity scene and the decoration of the Christmas tree, producing a small but significant innovation. The nativity scene, made out of the Christmas Baubles that represent characters of the Christmas scene, can in effect create a new tree design, but can also end up in any other corner of the house.

Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui have designed a family of items perfect for those who love the special atmosphere of Christmas. The collection is inspired by the trees that surround the designer home, Casa Boucquillon, a place for experimentation, meditation and work where they can live in symbiosis with nature. The result is a strongly poetic collection where every individual object proves to be, either in shape or in function, in continuous and harmonious dialogue with nature.

A place for experimentation, meditation and work where they live in sync with nature. The perforated pattern of the Bark range recalls the bark on the trees around the house. The result is a strongly poetic collection where every individual object proves to be, either in shape or in function, in continuous and harmonious dialogue with nature.

The table set was designed by Marcel Wanders. Traditionally, the rules would require that decoration be applied in the most important and most visible areas of the object. Wanders, on the other hand, applies it to secluded areas, a little out of sight, sometimes even in areas that aren?t normally visible at all, so much so that we could call it a sort of introverted decoration. In this way, even though he uses a language of signs that is very rich and complex, a bit flowery, a little baroque, Wanders manages to maintain a certain level of overall elegance and lightness. The series is complete in every aspect of a typical place setting and is composed of Plates and Bowls, Cutlery, Glasses, Placemat, a Tray, and Glass and Bottle Coasters.

Now a recognised classic and winner of the Premio Compasso d?Oro (1989) and the Bio 12 at the Ljubljana Biennale (1988), the Nuovo Milano cutlery set entered production after several years of formal experimenting, prototyping, and technological research on differentiated thickness in the bodies of the cutlery pieces: Ettore Sottsass wanted his cutlery to be as smooth as seaworn stones.
